How We Treat

The Six Pillars

Evidence-Based Psychotherapy Grounded in Neuroscience and Human Evolution

e-motion wellness® Method

Your structure for healing and well-being.

e-motion wellness® transcends and includes traditional evidence-based psychotherapy by integrating our evolutionary history, neuroscience, and psychological approaches. Our framework was designed to capitalize on the brain’s developmental history, survival functions, and the process by which humans learn. We have mastered intentional and effective protocols to encourage the natural processes of the brain, and our methods optimize overall mental health and prepare people to handle real-world stress without losing control. The e-motion difference is in our approach.

e-motion wellness® Method — the six pillars of healing

The Six Pillars

Physical Exercise: Movement is Medicine

Physical activity is at the core of our model. Movement is medicine. Physical activity impacts every aspect of our system and has a tremendous impact on brain chemistry. From our perspective and that of neuroscience, physical activity is the most significant intervention for improving mental health. Our founder developed our experiential therapy model to specifically capitalize on the benefits of exercise to improve and enhance each area of our e-motion wellness® method.

Connection: Being Seen Brings Forth Growth

At the heart of our treatment model lies the power of connection. Connection is as crucial for our physical survival as it is for our mental health. The roots of resilience are found in the sense of being understood by, and existing in the hearts and minds of others. Belonging and being a part of bring forth an incredible transformative process. In our model we have very strategically created this transformative community. We accomplish this through our community fitness classes, our group therapy, the design of our physical center along with our programming provide a one-of-a-kind experience to belong to a like-minded and supportive group. Clients have access to therapists, staff, coaches, and community members every single day not just on days when they receive services. When a client completes the program they transition to our community fitness and wellness community and continue to be a part of the everyday activities that they engaged with during their treatment process.

Emotional Regulation: Managing the Complexity of Your Human Experience

Emotional Regulation is often taught as a skill in traditional therapy settings utilizing models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Our model approaches the regulation of emotions from both a physiological and psychological perspective. We equip individuals with practical tools such as CBT and DBT along with strategies to better understand and manage their emotions while at the same time supporting and promoting neuroplasticity with the development of habits like physical activity, cold plunging, sauna work, exposure to sunlight and the outdoors and breathwork.

Outcomes: Progress Should Be Measured, Not Assumed

We track meaningful changes in symptoms, emotional regulation, physical well-being, daily functioning, and personal goals, then use that information to celebrate real progress, identify what is not working, and continually adapt care. Success is not simply completing treatment; it is building the capacity to live better beyond it.

Breathwork: Embracing Your Superpower

Harnessing the power of breathwork. Psychologically, breathwork acts as a powerful tool to manage stress, anxiety, and even trauma. By focusing on your breath, you activate the parasympathetic nervous system, triggering a relaxation response that calms your mind and reduces tension. This can lead to improved mental clarity, increased focus, and better emotional regulation. Physically, breathwork increases oxygen flow throughout your body, promoting better circulation and boosting your immune system and supporting healthy brain chemistry. In our e-motion wellness® method we employ both in-person guided breathwork to our clients as well as a technologically advanced program that utilizes nine-dimensional sound and frequencies to guide individuals on transformative journeys each with specific targets in mind such as improving self-concept, trauma release, abundance mindset and more. Through specialized breathing techniques, clients learn to tap into the present moment, reduce anxiety, and release tension. The practice of breathwork promotes clarity, enhances self-awareness, and paves the way for profound healing and personal growth.

Self-Concept: Embrace Authenticity and Cultivate Self-Acceptance

At the core of the e-motion wellness® method is the idea that self-concept plays a pivotal role in our mental well-being. Our compassionate team provides a safe space for individuals to explore their self-identity, uncover their strengths, and embrace their authentic selves. Through individualized therapy, support, and intentional and creative strategies we empower clients to build a positive self-concept, fostering self-acceptance and a renewed sense of purpose.
